It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Ruth Rich of Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Janie Ruth had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Janie Ruth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Rich and Virginia Erlene Petty Rich; and her sisters, Judy Ann Rich and Anita Kay Mayfield. She is survived by: her children, Angelia Ruth Brown (Tim) and Timothy Leon Scott; and her grandsons, Talon Michael Brown and Dillon Shane Brown.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
