He was predeceased by: his parents, James Porter Teeple and Nancy Hall Teeple; his wife Lou Ella Horton Teeple; his siblings, Sherman, Carl "Cotten", Ray Donald "Ducky", Lewis Teeple, Ruby Vinson, Maggie Cantrell, Ava Teeple, Edwina Bilbrey and Mary Ruth Merritt; and his great grandchild Madison Cheyenne Teeple.
He is survived by: his son Scott Teeple Dana Teeple (Margaret); his sisters, Leta Burns, Reba "Nell" Russow and Wilma "Jean" Bailey; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Spears Teeple and Harold Merritt; his grandchildren, P. J. Teeple (Holly), Kevin Teeple (Samantha), Justin Teeple (Samara), Lindsey Lettera (Nick), Corey Teeple, MarLea Finch, Jameson Teeple and Kristen Teeple; and his friend Robert Horton. He is also survived by his family Many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
