He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Maynard and Frances Johnson Maynard; and his brother-in-law Dillard Johnson. He is survived by: his children, James "Jimbo" Wiley Maynard, Jr. of Sparta, TN and Hope Marie Watson (Tyler) of Pikeville, TN; his siblings, Levon Maynard (Rose) of Sparta, TN, Rita Hutchings Johnson of Sparta, TN, Debbie Hutchings (Wayne) of Quebeck, TN, Janice Pittman (Ronald) of Sparta, TN and Karen Ward (Mark) of Sparta, TN; and his aunt Beulah Johnson of Ooltewah, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home (1786 Smithville Hwy, Sparta, TN 38583).
