He was predeceased by: his parents, William Balas Sparkman and Ida Beatrice Dodson Sparkman; his wife Sandra Neal Haley Sparkman; and his great grandchild Hope Nicholson. He is survived by: his children, James "JBo" Balas Sparkman, Jr. (Sarena) of Sparta, TN and Teressa Sparkman Baker; his grandchildren, Kali Baker, Tena Baker and Madison Gentry (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Hunter (Skylah), Holly, Hanna, Hayley Nicholson and Colter Gentry; his great great grandchild Maeve Nicholson; and his sisters, Connie Jolley and Susie Masters.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In his wishes, Jimmy requested that donations be made to Greenwood Cemetery in lieu of flowers.
