He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Kahl (Butch), Karen Neal (Mitchell) and Pennie Shrum (Eugene); his grandchildren, Ernest "Ted Man" Kahl, Jimmy Neal (Jennifer), Leslie "Sassie Dawn" McCurry, Byron "Byner" Shrum, Lakota "Koko" Shrum (Shelby) and Logan Crain (Makayla); and his great grandchildren, Haylee Neal, Hayden Neal, Eli McCurry, Carlee McCurry, Abby McCurry, Isabella Rae Shrum, Lydia "Liddy Cat" Shrum, Lincoln Shrum and Lainey Geneva Shrum.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583).
