He is survived by: his wife Thelma Nash Prater; his son Mike Prater; his grandchildren, Michelle Ward (John), Kayla Turner (Matthew) and Michael Prater; his great grandchildren, Khloe, Kassie Ward, Melodee and Axel Turner; his stepson Billy Wayne Dulin; and his siblings, David Prater (Sandy), Rufus Prater (Regina) and Joann Gouge (Kenny).
