Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Geraldine Cooley Hickey of Sparta, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 77, on January 20, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Anderson and Cora Mae Stults Cooley; her daughter Mary Melissa "Missy" Hickey Roberts; and her siblings, Beecher, Floyd, John, Hollis Cooley, Katherine Jenkins and Mary Ruth Alley.
She is survived by: her husband John Hickey; her daughters, Jill Wheeler (Shane) and Tiffany Monday; her grandchildren, Allissa Roberts, Lauren Desrosiers (Blenson), Victoria Roberts, Jon Riley Monday and Cora Belle Monday; her great grandchildren, Mia Cooper and Beau Desrosiers; and her sister Daphene Richardson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Spring Presbyterian Church (2220 Doran Rd, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Blue Spring Cemetery Fund.
