She was predeceased by: her parents, Maloy C. Spurlock and Ina Madelyne Spurlock; her husband Claude Hyder; and her brother Billy Huston Spurlock. She is survived by: her brother Roy Glen Spurlock; her niece Julie Spurlock Hawkins; and her nephew Billy Spurlock Jr. (Larry Spurlock).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sparta First United Methodist Church (23 N Church St, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
