He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezekiel Newby and Tula Goff Newby; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Caviness (Wayne), Thurman Pedigo and Ralph Pedigo.
He is survived by: his son Zeke Newby (Christa) of Mt. Juliet, TN; his grandchildren, Haley, Kacie and Waylon; his great grandchild Saylor Phillips; his brothers-in-law, Charles Johnson and Evelena Ashburn (Mark); and his nieces and nephews, Jim Mason (April), Bonnie Collier (Charles), Judy Thomas, George Beaver, Patrick Pedigo (Carol), Lee Pedigo, Tim Pedigo (Lise), Jennifer Jacobs (Tom), Luke Caviness (Meagan), Jill Caviness (Jesse), Susan Pedigo Edwards (Chris) and Heather Pedigo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the High Funeral Home (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
