He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Burson and Dorothy Stanton Burson; and his brother David McGinnis. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Copeland Burson; his sons, Stephen Burson and Jeffrey West; and his siblings, Larry Burson, Stanley Burson (Susan), Hershel Burson (Mary Ann), Sharon Emmert and Judy Parrish.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
