It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Beddoe Littleton of Sparta, Tennessee, born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Halsey Beddoe and Elizabeth Parrish Beddoe; her husband Robert Dale Littleton; and her sister Mary Inglis "Polly" Beddoe Jett. She is survived by: her children, George Adam Berger (Lara) of Davidson, NC, Mary Elizabeth Berger Davis (Walter "Bunker") of Knoxville, TN and Robert Parrish Berger of Sparta, TN; her grandchildren, Ryan Scott Davis, Patrick Walker Davis, Nolan Blake Davis and Mary Elizabeth "Emmy" Berger; and her brother George Beddoe III of Fredericksburg, VA.
After graduation, Betsy enjoyed working as a research librarian at the Rockefeller Foundation in New York City.
