Though Donald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnham Babbitt and Helen Rifenburg; and his daughter Stephanie Valentine. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Babbitt of Sparta, TN; and his children, Kimberly James (Jeff) of Savona, NY, Donald Babbitt II (Melissa) of Calhoun, TN and Jessica Valentine of Alexandria, TN.. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
