He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Lewis; and his brother Sunny Vest. He is survived by: his father Amos Vest; his son Douglas Vest (Sara) of Ocoee, FL; his grandchildren, Zachary and Eleanor Vest; and his siblings, Judy, Wanda, Carlos, Jeff, Jerry and Lana.
