He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Scott and Mollie Lorene Turrington Scott; and his brother Jimmy C. "Jimburr" Scott. He is survived by: his wife Verna Ruth Barlow Scott; his sons, Charlie Lee Scott, Jr. (Tonya) and Barry Scott (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Bryan, Emilee, Matthew, Jacob and Alex Scott; and his sisters, Ava (Rick Mahler), Brenda (William Trute), Glenda (David Zuber Charles) and Beverly Justice. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hunter Funeral Home (120 Bockman Way, Sparta, TN 38583). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
