She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph McAllister and Eileen Elizabeth O'Connor McAllister. She is survived by: her son John Richard Benson (Jane); her grandchildren, Sean and Eliza; and her siblings, Bill McAllister, Bernadette "Bernie" Hoyt (Robert), Geraldine "Geri" Canacakos and Denise Nikles.
The inurnment will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery (1786 Smithville Hwy, Sparta, TN 38583). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Hickory Valley Baptist Church (5865 Hickory Valley Rd, Sparta, TN 38583).
