He was predeceased by: his wife Jonelda Sparks Hutson; his parents, William Finley Hutson and Millie Zula Hitchcock Hutson; and his siblings, Ina Lucille, William Ralph, Rogers Carson, Myla Ruth and Nellie Jane Hutson.

He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Dixon (Tim) of Clearwater, FL; and his grandchildren, Bill Hutson of Sparta, TN, Rodney Hutson (Tara) of Murfreesboro, TN., Wendy Cox, Ashlee Anderson, Matt Greene, Will Hutson, Max Hutson and Alexis Hutson-Hamric. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the West Sparta Church of Christ Stepping Stones or the White County Public Library.
