It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imogene Purviance of Southside, Tennessee, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Ray Purviance; the father of her children Nondon Browning; her daughter Elaine Ashby; her great grandchild Dusty Greenup; her sisters, Joy Togia and Irene Ladd; and her brother-in-law Sam DiFiore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Travis (Billy) and Corene Jones; her stepchildren, Steven Purviance and Brenda Massey; her brother-in-law Fuatia Togia; and her grandchildren, Cameron Jones (Kim), Melody Hutchison (Allen), Marlo Brame (Lester), Darrin Greenup (Bobbie) and Mia Johnson. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.
