He was predeceased by: his adoptive mother Mildred Farmer Smith. He is survived by: his children, Rachael Lawrence (Dennis) of Southside, TN and Donald Smith III (Tonya) of Terrell, TX; his grandchildren, Tyler, Aiden, Maddox, Ryker and Daniel; and his sister Cindy Kelley of Clarksville, TN.. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
