He is survived by: his daughter Jazzlynn Burks Sims; his parents, James Clinton Sims, Sr. and Peggy Joyce Mosley Sims; his wife Lynn Burks Sims; his children, Benjamen Sims, Christian Sims, Wil Sims, Summer Akridge, Amber Smith, Madison Sims and Chelsey Dykes; and his brothers, Clinton Sims (Shannon) and Jason Sims (Gretchen). He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
