He is survived by: his wife Linda Howard Nelson of South Pittsburg; his children, Anna Marlene Martin (Bill) of Jasper, Ruthie Cardin (Mike) of South Pittsburg and Thomas Bryant Nelson (Tracy) of Whitwell, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kellee Griffith, Drew Carver (Amy), Lynn Carver, Kyle Carver (Miranda), Blake Nelson (Samantha) and Travis Nelson; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Baylee, Remington, Sawyer, Myla and Blaze; his grandchildren, Tracy Cardin and Jared Cardin (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Braden, Drake and Macey; and his siblings, Luther Nelson and Jenny Goodner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
