He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel E., Sr. and Doris Murray; his sister Patsy E. Murray; and his parents-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Carson.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Murray of South Pittsburg; his children, Hunter Murray, Maggie of Hendersonville, Cory Murray and Kaley of South Pittsburg; his siblings, Connie Hall and Wesley; his sister-in-law Tina Steele; his nieces, April (Donnie Dalton), Carlene Holcomb, Jersey and Madison (Lyla Steele); his nephew Nick Holcomb; his great-nieces, Maddi Dalton and Ashlyn Smith; and his great-nephew Javen Talley.
