We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2023, at the age of 83, Sam Simmons of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, born in Jasper, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam H. Simmons and Reba Rice Simmons; his son Dale Simmons; and his siblings, Sylvia Fry, Mildred Bitzel, Evelyn Cato and Jack Simmons.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia J. Simmons; his children, Carol Smith (John), Ray Simmons and Matthew Simmons (Marie); his daughter-in-law Misty Simmons; and his siblings, Louise Kincade, Treva Mabbitt (Bob), Louis Simmons (Alice) and David Simmons (Helen). He is also survived by grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
