He is survived by: his pet Casey; his wife Frances White Shoemake; his sons, Barnard Shoemake and Speedy Shoemake (Susan); his daughter-in-law Barbara Shoemake; his grandchildren, Trevor Britton Shoemake, Amanda Pilgrim Shoemake, Lauren Tate (Zack), Courtney Shoemake and Felicia Haire; and his siblings, Stephen Shoemake (Diann), Edward Shoemake and Carolyn Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
