Lucille Muir Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2022, at the age of 90, Lucille Muir of South Pittsburg, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husbands, Joseph L. Muir, Sr. and Bud Sampley; her parents, John Samples and Bertha Hayes Phipps; her children-in-law, Tommy Martin, Sr. and Debra Muir; her grandsons, Brandon Muir and Tommy Martin, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Samples Muir, Billy and Charles "Rabbit" Samples.
She is survived by : her daughters, Wilma Martin and Dorothy Atkins (Richard); her stepdaughter Kathy LeRoy (Brian); her sons, Joseph "Bub" Muir, Jr. (Karen), John H. Muir, James "Jim" Muir (Marie) and William "Bill" Muir (Jamie); and her sister Ruby Hughes. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
