She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Reynolds and Kate Trussell Reynolds; her husband John Pearson; her siblings, James Reynolds, Willian Reynolds, Richard Reynolds, Henry Reynolds, Jr., Jenny Mae Dalton, Virginia Kilgore, Bobbie Case, Bernice Layne and Carolyn Layne; and her grandson Noah Pittman.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hood and Mary Jernigan (Richard); and her siblings, Fred Reynolds (Mamie), Barbara Anderson (Clifford) and Mary Lovelace.
She also made and donated masks during covid for Richard Hardy Memorial School students.
