He was predeceased by : his parents, James Morgan Lewis, Sr. and Margaret Anderson Lewis; and his son James Anderson Lewis. He is survived by : his wife Stephanie Maughan Lewis; his sons, Scott (Suzanne) of Kimball, Ryan (Beth) of South Pittsburg, Brett Lewis (Jill) of Elizabethton and Cooper Lewis of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; his sister Lynn Tuck (Dexter) of South Pittsburg, Tennessee.; and his grandchildren, Jackson Lewis, Michael Lewis, Brady Lewis, Callie Lewis, Myles Lewis and Taylor Grindstaff (Steven).

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the family prefers that attendees of the visitation wear masks.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the organization of choice or South Pittsburg High School Academics (Attn: HS Principal).
