He was predeceased by : his mother Ruth Pace (Braden). He is survived by : his father Jesse Richard, Sr.; his children, Jennifer Shahan, Caitlin Grider, Meghan Spears, Tyler Phillips (Jade) and Megan McHone (Clay); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Howell, Zeklan Shahan and Gunner McHone; his wife Pam Pace (Jones); his sister Tina Clements (Steve); his in-laws, Jim Jones (Lucy), Craig Jones (Debbie) and Angela Payne (Rickey); his aunt Mary Murray (Top); and his uncle Roy Pace. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
