She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Martin and Artie Mae Hudson Martin; her sisters, Opal Sanders, Jewel Calvert and Evelyn Pesnell; her husband Jefferson Davis Bennett; and her son Bruce Lynn Bennett.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Bennett (Carol) and Neil Bennett (Julie). She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
