She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie James and Savannah Jane Lockhart Johnson; her daughter Nancy Diane Smith; and her siblings, Betty Lou Louallen, Phyllis Marie Johnson and Jimmy James Johnson.
She is survived by: her significant other Robert Chance; her son Mark Anthony Slatton; her siblings, Jessie Johnson (Angie) and Kathy Diane Ake; her grandchildren, Kaniel Smith (Brianna), Terron Anthony Slatton, Skylar Smith, Damon Smith, Hailey Slatton, Maddie Slatton, Gloria Slatton and Priscilla Slatton; and her close friend Jennifer Evans. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
