He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Higdon Jr. and Bonnie Brown Higdon; and his siblings, Buddy Higdon, David Higdon and Linda Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wynne Higdon; his sisters, Judy Miles and Jean Powell; his children, Gary Higdon (Dana), Sherman Higdon, Crystal Hansard, Christina Case, Kevin Case (Gina), Amanda Case and Wesley Case; and his close friend Jeff Stephens. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
