He was predeceased by: his parent Leonard Elmer; his wife Gloria Bellomy Chance; his daughter Donna Renae Mathis; and his brother Charles Chance. He is survived by: his parent Ora Maude Walker Chance; his grandson Brandon Coppinger (Randi) of South Pittsburg; and his brothers, Elmer Gene Chance of Brodhead and Bruce Chance of Kimball. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
