She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Haggard and Liza Price; her husband Arnold Avans; her son Kenneth Avans; her siblings, Joseph Haggard, Lonnie Haggard, Thelma Holt and Imogene Yarworth; and her granddaughter Sarah Rollings.
She is survived by: her children, Roy "Sawbriar" Avans, Dale Avans and Helen Bradley (Clinton); and her daughter-in-law Joyce Avans. She is also survived by grandchildren; thirteen (13) great-grandchildren and two (2) great-great grandchildren.
