She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Howard and Mary Bryant Muir; her husband James C. Smith, Sr.; her daughter-in-law LeeAnn Smith; and her siblings, Bobby Howard and Martha Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Joel Smith, James C. Smith, Jr., Bobby Smith (Debbie) and Merrie Johnson (Terry); and her sisters, Linda Nelson and Brenda Wilson. She is also survived by several other family members and special friends.
