It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Hargis (South Pittsburg, Tennessee), who passed away on October 12, 2018, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Moats and Hazel Mildred Sexton Moats; her former husband Jeffrey Allen Trussell; her siblings, Woody Moats, Jr., Paul Moats and Mary Cagle; and her uncle Paul Padgett.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Hargis of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; her children, Kelly Condra (Lindsey) of Jasper and Allen Trussell (Kim) of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; her stepson Gene Hargis; her grandchildren, Coty Trussell, Caitlin Wayne (Andrew), Cassia Trussell, Cameron Trussell, Caleb Condra and Jourdan Condra; her stepgrandchildren, Sara Hargis and Mason Hargis; her great grandchildren, Fisher Wayne, Maddie Wayne and Adalyn Trussell; her sisters, Opal Smith, Ann Holland and Susie Sharp; and her close friend Donna Horton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
