He is survived by : his wife Terry Ambrester; his children, Jake Ambrester and Susan Baxter (Bob); his grandchildren, Caleb Rector (Ceri), Cole Rector, Skye Baxter, Aurora Ambrester and Bentlee Muir; his great grandchild Quade Rector; and his aunt Patsy Sherrill. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home - South Pittsburg (400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to Marion County Sheriff Christmas for Kids, 5 N Oak Ave, Jasper, TN 37347.
