We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2024, at the age of 89, Betty Mae Hargiss of South Pittsburg, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband George Hargiss; her daughter Susan Mae Hargiss; her parents, Vernon William Ewing and Ella Marie Heimback Ewing; and her siblings, Robert Ewing, Vernon Ewing, Phyllis Harper and Jackie Ewing.

She is survived by : her son Jeff Hargiss (Becky); her grandson Craig Hargiss; and her close friends, Dorothy DeWeese, Betty Partin, Rosa Wayne, Susie Pullium, Alicia Stuart, Shirley Alder, Carolyn Ferguson, Ann Gray and Linda Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home - South Pittsburg (400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
