It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Jackson Jr. (South Pittsburg, Tennessee), who passed away on October 8, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Patton Jackson; his parents, Benjamin Jackson and Odessa Joseph Jackson; and his siblings, Edna Battle and Elmer James Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Jackson Sims of South Pittsburg, Tyrone Jackson (Diane) of South Pittsburg and Christopher McKinley Jackson (Alexis) of Toney, Alabama; his grandchildren, Celentria Player of East Chicago, Brooke Sims of Huntsville, Tera Jackson of Chattanooga and Elyse Jackson of Toney, Alabama; and his siblings, Clyde Jackson (Elzada), Earl Jackson, Alvin Jackson (Darlene), Charlsie Edwards (Elias) and Dorothy Jackson. He is also survived by three brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews.
