He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Reed Bynum and Sarah Irma Owens Bynum; his sons, Phillip Curtis Bynum and Dan Joseph Twining; and his siblings, Hubert Bynum, Charles Robert Bynum, Mary Sue Joyner, Helen Bynum and Phyllis Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Nell Knight Bynum; and his children, Ruby Michelle Rundell of Martin, TN, Donna Jean Buhl of South Fulton, TN, John Robertson of DeSoto, MS, Teresa Tutor of DeSoto, MS, Joyce Robertson Smith of Wiggins, MS and Glenn Twining of Hilton Head, SC. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
