We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2024, at the age of 98, Norma Jean Greer of South Fulton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Norma Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Norma Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Commodore Dewey Yates, Sr. and Arnice McAllister Yates; her husband Carl M. Greer; and her brothers, William Hanley Yates and Dewey Edward Yates, Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Kim "Woody" Woodruff of Centerville, TN and Gigi Greer Perez of South Fulton, TN; and her sister Bettye Stone of Austin, TX.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
