She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Matthews and Gertie Hardy Matthews; her stepson Erik Vermillion; and her brother Jackie Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Hank Vermillion of South Fulton; her siblings, W. C. Matthews of South Fulton and Maxine Matthews of Martin; her granddaughters, Amber, Sylvia and Hailey; her great grandchildren, Alice, Colton, Brayden, Giovanni, Tristan, Jacob and Clay; and her stepson Michael Bradley of Rives.
