She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Heithcock and Ila Ferguson Heithcock; her husband Gene Gardner; her daughters, Betty Moss and Joyce Toon; her stepdaughter Marinan Barner; her granddaughter Merideth O'Neill; and her siblings, Boyce Heithcock and Jane Copeland.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Dr. Joe Gardner of Bowling Green, KY and Marla Edwards of Martin, TN; and her granddaughters, Lisa Malone (Stephen) of Knoxville, TN and Libby McKnight of Dresden.
