He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl D. Jowers and Magdalene "Maggie" Jowers (Maness); his son Bret Jowers; and his sisters, Ann Tidwell and Carlene Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Jowers (Crabtree); his children, Stacy Sampson (Andy) of Houston, Kim Griffith Johnson of Union City and Justin Muse (Kelly) of Loveland, Colorado; his siblings, Kay Meadows of Kenton and Danny Jowers of Kenton; his grandchildren, Alissa Sampson (JonAlek), Alona Axtell (Austin), Aleigha Sampson, Avery Johnson, Kailey Guiden, Waylon Muse, Mazie Muse, Rachel Hardy (Jacob), Dylan Jowers and Madison Jowers; his great grandchildren, Elianna Harrison, Benton Hardy and Fisher Hardy; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Crabtree of South Fulton, Johnny Meadows of Rutherford and Ronnie Crabtree (Karen) of South Futon.
