He is survived by: his wife Monica Austin of Somerville, TN; his children, Willie Wade of Jackson, TN and Raven Wade; his stepdaughter Merinda Brooks of Somerville, TN; and his siblings, Doris Carpenter Harwell of Memphis, TN, David Shaw of Somerville, TN and Horace Carpenter of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, six sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
