She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thompson and Lilly White Thompson; her husband Lester Jack Ferge; her children, Kenneth Ferge and Helen Faye Ferge; her siblings, Vaudie Cannon, Effin Hames, Alvie Cannon, Lester Thompson, Clifton Thompson and Herbert Hamm; and her granddaughter Jessica Faye Ferge.
She is survived by: her son Lester Ray Ferge of Whiteville; her sister Louise Pittman of Somerville; and her grandchildren, Kenny Ferge (Renee) of Somerville, Bobby Ferge of Somerville and Leah Sanders of Somerville. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
