He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Horton and Alicia Polliham Horton. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Edmonds Horton; his children, Catherine Hope Horton, Robert Francis Horton, Jr. (Eleanor), Michael Treadwell Horton (Susan) and Patrick Vincent Horton (Tara); and his grandchildren, Anna Carroll Horton, Aaron Gray Cohen, Harrison Horton, Michael Lamar Cohen and Virginia Aldrich Horton.
