She was predeceased by: her parents, Vodie Holly Thompson and Nannie Smith; and her siblings, Maybell White, Ollie York, Earl "Red" Cannon, Jr. and Arice Cannon.
She is survived by: her sons, James F. King (Becky) of Somerville, TN, Ricky D. King of Somerville, TN and Danny L. King (Melissa) of Somerville, TN; and her siblings, Sheila Eddington (Dennis), Audrey McQueen (Ricky), Patricia Kimery (Ralph), Aubrey Cannon of Hillville, TN, Ronald Smith (Donna) of Memphis, TN, Ricky Smith (Kathy) of Raleigh, TN and Mike Smith (Rosalinda) of Bartlett, TN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
