He is survived by: his grandchildren, Stephen Watkins (Amanda), Nancy Glover, Cassie Glover, Heather Bruce (Jeff), Brooklyn Jankowski (Jake), Autumn Gaither (Mike), Davis Watkins (Payton), Hayden Watkins (Anna Grace), Luke Watkins (Chelsea), Elijah Allen (Trisha), Emma Watkins (Jordan), Hannah Watkins and Jaycee Watkins; his great grandchildren, Layla, Olivia, Brynlee, Annalyn, Raynie, Lennon, Mattie Claire, Hendrix, Ella Katherine, Karson, Jordan, McKenna Rae, Christian, Mary Margaret, Audrey Claire, Collins and Alexis; his wife Donna Watkins of Mercy's Bridge Church; his children, Michelle Gaither (Randy), Mike Watkins (Wanda) and Matthew Watkins (Tiffany); his siblings, Hazel Taylor, Nelle Burgess (Ross), Ava Pulliam, Leon Watkins (Dale), Jerry Watkins (Karen) and Timmy Watkins (Andrea); his sisters-in-law, Robbie Watkins and Sheila Watkins; and his sister Lisa Ann Joyner.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Somerville (12685 S Main St, Somerville, TN 38068). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
