He is survived by: his children, Eric "Ivory" Thompson, Bobby Wilkerson and Amber Smith; and his sisters, Johnnie Smith, Dianne Brown, Kathline Woodland, Jessie Hale, Maxine Davis and Barbara Harris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
