He is survived by: his wife Idrilla Jones Benson; his children, Renae Boyce (Reginald), Bianca Jones, David Benson, Brandon Jones, Marcel Jones and Eddie Jones; and his siblings, Willa Bell, Josephine Benson, Mary Posley (Sylvester), Chaney Benson, Annette Benson and Henry Benson (Brenda).
