He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hughes, Sr. of Washington and Gladys May Monk Hughes; his children, Cassie Jean Hughes and Randall Eugene Hughes; and his siblings, Shirley Hughes, Nancy Gates, George W. Hughes, Jr. and Bob Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Louise Gibson (Daryl); his grandchildren, Christina Yager (Joshua) and Jesse Gibson (Marie); and his great grandchildren, Wade Yager, Alexander Gibson, Gracelyn Yager and Emily Gibson.
